Welcome to PVTuitions, an educational platform operated as part of the Padhai Vadhai initiative. PVTuitions provides a technology marketplace that connects students and parents seeking personalized academic guidance with qualified independent tutors offering home tuition and online tutoring services across Delhi NCR and India.
PVTuitions facilitates discovery, requirement posting, proposal review, booking scheduling, and secure payment processing. By registering an account, posting tuition needs, or offering tutoring services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

User Accounts & Eligibility
To register an account on PVTuitions:
- Students & Parents: Students under 18 years of age must have their account created or supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Parents assume full legal and financial responsibility for tutoring sessions arranged on behalf of minors.
- Tutors & Faculty: Tutors must be at least 18 years of age and possess the academic qualifications, degrees, or subject matter expertise declared on their profile.
- Accurate Information: All users agree to provide truthful, accurate, and current information during registration, including real names, contact numbers, and addresses.

Student & Parent Rights & Obligations
- Tuition Requirement Postings: Students may post genuine tuition requirements detailing their target grade, subject, preferred learning mode (home, online, or centre), and budget. Fraudulent or spam postings will result in immediate account suspension.
- Reviewing Tutor Proposals: Students have the right to inspect teacher proposals, review qualifications, ratings, experience, and fee structures before deciding to hire or decline an applicant.
- Contact Sharing: Direct contact details (phone number, WhatsApp, email) are securely unlocked once a tutor application is accepted or a booking is confirmed. Users agree not to misuse contact information.
- Session Environment: For home tutoring, parents agree to provide a safe, respectful, and distraction-free study environment within their residence.

Tutor & Faculty Code of Conduct
- Professional Standards: Tutors agree to conduct themselves with the highest degree of punctuality, professionalism, and pedagogical integrity during all lessons.
- Profile Accuracy: All educational degrees, certifications, and teaching experience claimed in the tutor dashboard must be genuine and verifiable upon request by PVTuitions.
- Non-Solicitation: Tutors agree not to circumvent the PVTuitions platform to solicit private offline payment arrangements for bookings initially introduced through the platform.
- Zero Tolerance for Misconduct: Any form of verbal abuse, physical harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate termination, blacklisting, and reporting to relevant legal authorities.

Tuition Fees, Bookings & Payment Processing
All payments on PVTuitions are processed through authorized, PCI-DSS compliant third-party payment gateways (including Razorpay).
- Tuition Rates: Tutors determine their minimum and maximum hourly or monthly tuition rates displayed on their profiles. Once a hiring proposal is mutually accepted, the agreed-upon fee is binding for the agreed period.
- Payment Security: PVTuitions does not store sensitive financial credentials such as debit/credit card numbers or CVVs. All transactions are end-to-end encrypted.
- Tutor Payouts: Tutor earnings for verified completed sessions are disbursed in accordance with platform settlement schedules, subject to applicable service fees or taxes.

Child Safety & Home Tutoring Protocol
Safety Advisory for Parents:
We strongly advise that a parent, guardian, or responsible adult is always present in the home during in-person home tutoring sessions with minor students.
While PVTuitions verifies tutor identification and documentation, parents and students retain the final discretion to review tutor profiles, conduct preliminary introductory calls, and supervise lessons.

Cancellations, Rescheduling & Disputes
- Rescheduling: If either party needs to reschedule a class, a minimum notice of 24 hours must be provided to the other party whenever possible.
- Dispute Resolution: If a dispute arises regarding attendance, lesson quality, or fee calculations, users can submit an inquiry through our Help & Support desk. PVTuitions will mediate in good faith based on booking logs and transaction records.
